The Philippines is a tropical country located near the pacific ocean; it is the most typhoon-prone country on the planet. In vision of this, our nation is in dire need of stability and action, but alas, social media entails a cruel truth shone on the government and its constituents. Climate change is a prime reason for the exacerbation of environmental conditions, typhoons increasing in quantity and strength. Witnessing the multitudes of effects on our country, a significant point of critical planning presents itself practically to all Filipinos affected by consequences.
Social media is a significant portion of our lives in the present era, information ruled by online posts and dominated by the words and images created from the power of the internet. The Philippines constantly deals with internal sociopolitical issues such as the latest Flood Control Ghost Project issue of politicians; our nation is in constant adrift of proper governance in critical areas for every Filipino citizen. "What is pride without conviction?" - A question bearing the thought of baseless confidence of improper governance and management, an inherent feeling of pride but devoid of conviction and service.
