The Last Dance: Climax, Epitome, and Peak
Ilocos Sur National High School has been my place for the past 4 years, since the beginning of my time in high school, I can remember how the foundation day aligned with liveliness and creativity watching the diffrent activities that came with it. I could consider my eyes lucky having seen 4 years worth of foundation days in ISNHS - a value more sentimental than how it may seem. For 4 years, I gave my all in education, for 4 years I have witnessed my own development and evolution. This foundation day was not the best, but it is a considerable and sufficient time of happiness that made me enjoy the last few weeks of my time in Junior High School.
I can say that the field demo was the most lively event that I had seen and participated in. Since 8th grade, the dances and the energy never ceased, never faltered, and never stunted my curiousity. Every time I saw those matching moves, bright outfits, the energy pouring out from each person, a quiet thrill settled into the air. Not simply standing on stage for applause - more like feeling something shared, alive between everyone there. Year after year, stepping deeper into it, noticing how much went unseen beneath each act, the whole thing started meaning more than before.
Besides the acts on stage, the anniversary brought back moments lived inside the campus walls. Laughter rang through hallways, built from jokes between classmates during long afternoons. Getting ready for competitions meant late talks under dim lights. Each buildup before gatherings added flavor to how we remembered the day. Though this round lacked dazzling extras seen in past years, it mattered deeply - simply because it sat near the edge of my junior high path. Looking behind me now, those four turns of seasons show something clearer - the day wasn’t only about tradition. It mirrored how much changed, who stayed by my side, and why those layers stick with me even when the noise fades out.
